Viper trinkets?

Hello everyone, returning player here. I stopped playing a bit after the first expansion was released, but I felt like trying the game a bit more now as my old favourite class, condi necro, seems to be viable again. I have changed my weapons and ascended armor into Vipers, and am now using my old rabid ascended trinkets, but I want to upgrade them to Viper as well. What is the current easiest way of doing this? Most info that I find when searching is a year old or so.

Thanks in advance

Grinding lws3 maps. Winterberries on bitterfrost frontier map are the fastest, especially if you have multiple characters. Ember bay is probably best for the second one. That said, a new lws starts in 3 days so you may be able to get one from that, but that's not confirmed. If you like pvp, you can grind out the currencies via pvp as well, but I believe only after completing the episodes. If you do not own lws3 I recommend getting it. It's honestly extremely fun content. If you can only get one, get bitterfrost, but I love them all.

Yep yep, Living World Season 3 is by far the easiest method to acquire Viper, or Trailblazer trinkets. Each individual map has their own token, and specific accessories associated with those tokens. Now, not every map is made equal, - as mentioned above by Renita - Bitterfrost Frontier is above and beyond the easiest, since Winterberries spawn in static locations, and there doesn't seem to be a gathering limit imposed on them. Through usage of the Portal Scrolls (Infinite use. 50 silver, 1000 unbound magic per area) you can warp alts to those areas without the need of doing the story, allowing you to get a nice cozy farm going quickly.

I wrote up some information about each individual area, what you can get from these LS3 areas, a general idea of how many tokens you can get per day, and how to get them. Be warned, this is a pretty big wall of text; hopefully it's easy to read? There might be some incorrect information, or formatting problems, but hopefully it will be of some assistance.

You can buy up to 7 per Shrine Power Cycle depending on the amount of events you complete, and since you're guaranteed to break even, you should ALWAYS buy these. They also have a good chance at lodestones, and warped salvage materials. They only appear at vendors once you've been in the map for one cycle)

>! **Waterlogged Chest** - 0 ~ 2. Honestly, I'm not familiar about any in-depth mechanics regarding these things, but they seem to spawn all over the place, and some even appear after events with guaranteed pearls? They're a nice means to bolster your pearl gathering, I guess

>! **Hidden Reliquary Gambling!** - Once per day upon completion of all hearts, you may access Abaddon's Reliquary, where you are given one free chance at opening a chest for pearls. Pearls can range from 0 at the lowest, and 51 at the highest; if you wish, you can spend a 1.5g for ONE additional chance at opening another chest. I have no idea if this is per character

I had so much fun running about in the LS3 areas that I ended up getting myself sets of Viper, and Trailblazer for different content. If you really get invested in these areas, you can even start up the Aurora legendary collection (If you ever intend to do this, you should start collecting the 5 daily Druid Runestone Fragments from Draconis Mons immediately)

Not to hijack the thread but I can only get 1 ring from bitterfrost correct? I got the back from sirens landing and one ring from bff. The ring only took a few days of really casual grinding between two characters. If I can't get a second ring from there which is the next easiest area to farm? Was doing bloodstone fen but the drop rate on the ruby was pretty low even with banner buff.

So... you can get 2 but you have to attune or infuse one and not the other. This is fine for everything except very high fractals. I wear 2 vipers rings from bitterfrost for all content except high fractals where I currently just throw on one rampagers ring. If you fractal a lot you should be able to afford the new fractal ring though which costs 100 pristine fractal relics and can be any stat you choose, including vipers... I think it even comes Pre infused.

OK sounds good thanks. I do strictly open world content so min maxing doesn't really apply. Never even stepped foot in a fractal. I'll start grinding out those berries again.

Glad I could help, but 2 things... you might need to do some fractals to attune, I don't remember the mats, and you can only do this for rings, not accessories. Good luck.
