Disconnection During storys

Since the recent patch I have had a large amount of errors during story missions. Error says unable to connect to guild wars 2 servers and disconnects at the end of the server. I have put in a support ticket and with a week of going back and forth have received no resolve. I have a large amount of guildies who are experiencing the same issue and with that being said would assume it is a guild wars 2 server problem. This is killing game play and the ability to experience the story of the game and needs to be highly investigated.

Hey there - this is a common issue that all players seem to be facing, there are a few fixes you can do to try and remedy the situation but nothing 100%.

- Guesting onto another world (can be done via character selection screen)

- Restarting computer and router.

- Lastly, trying a new character.

 

Short of trying these methods, there's not much else you can do until ArenaNet solid fix it.

Also, good news: in recent story missions, the game seems to log your progress so you don't get to start all over put at the last marker. Take the Shining Blade Headquarter mission, for instance. I hope this mechanic will be continued to be used for all future content. :)
