The leader is sick of bad breaks when moa is on cooldown so now we get no moas until we unkitten ourselves.

What ~~class~~ profession are you running? If fast breaks are really important there's stuff like wild blow and headbutt on warrior, bane signet or the maw trap thing on guards.

Double cc pet druids. War, headbutt shattering blow. Thief venom if there is one in the group. Renegades have cc as part of the rotation, condi soulbeasts run cc pet and have other cc skills that can be used without breaking rotation. It's not that hard to break the bar, people just gotta contribute, instead of hoping everyone will do it for them.

 

Raids are all about mechanics.

This. Don't depend on others to break that bar. Every class has an access to cc - learn the ones your class have.

Yes, sometimes it will require accepting a dps loss, but in many cases it won't.

Notice that's a good policy to have even if your chrono _is_ using moa.
