Sparion.8345 Posted December 4, 2017 Share Posted December 4, 2017 So I doubt I will get any response to this but I am having a frustrating problem. The minute I press play the game appear in task manager for about to seconds then just closes itself. no screen appears nothing. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. tommb.1426 Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 I had the same issue and loading up the game in windowed mode seemed to fix the issue. if you can get to the Character select screen you can change the settings there. If not making a shortcut to the GW2.exe and adding -windowed to the Target looks like "D:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe" -windowed. Open up properties for the shortcut and the target line should be there.
