Nivra.2476
For some reason, PoF is extra dark when it comes to the blacks and the shaders; the blacks seem over saturated and creates this "fake" darkness. I can adjust the gamma to 1.10 to make it better but then it over-brightens the rest of the game. I'm not sure why only PoF looks this way but it's becoming frustrating to adjust settings based on the maps I'm on. Is anyone else experiencing this or is this common? Inculpatus cedo.9234
Do you own Season 3? Graphics were changed starting in the later maps of Season 3. This may be why you see a difference. Good luck.
nottsgman.8206
it looks much better with Ambient Occlusion and Light Adaptation options ticked, if you haven't tried those yet.
Nivra.2476
I have all settings ticked, only gamma made it look normal :/. As for season 3, no.. I didn't know they made graphical changes just for that.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Well, it wasn't 'just for the latter part of Season 3', it's for all new maps/content going forward. It's very nice. You might consider adjusting your graphics card options; might help for GW2. Good luck.
Eva.6782
I'm experiencing the same Problem. For me it fixes if I play the game in full screen. Since I usually dont do that for i switch between my computer screens a lot I ended up not really playing PoF instead anymore... not sure if theres a way to really fix it, but if playing fullscreen helps you you might wanna try that.
