PSA for windows users experiencing stutter/lag

Only applies to Windows10. I've had the issue and I'm on Windows8.1

I wonder, is there a windows service that can be disabled for now, that will remedy the problem?

Not sure. At this point it is a wait and see. But it getting worse for alot of people. At first I thought it was GW2 lag, but now i see it doing it when im not in game. Highly pissed at MS as the POF release is Friday....

It's almost a year old.

 

Microsoft isn't doing anything for their game.

 

Worse, Anet isn't doing anything about their UI/game having a memory leak - you can watch it in task manager. Restarting is a necessity without solid programming and even then one isn't assured the game won't glitch, lag or bomb out.
