Josh.4016
This seems like such an underrated ability. It never gets used because the grandmasters in corruption just beat it. It seems like it would fit rather well in the blood tree, which lacks a self centered offensive grandmaster. It might entice people to actually use blood specialization, just a thought. Dadnir.5038
It's hard to see it but in fact this trait is the "weakness" dedicated trait of the necromancer and as such belong to curse. I know that most players use it more for it's proc when entering shroud but the selling point of the trait is supposed to be the ability to apply 5s weakness on crit with a 10 seconds cool down. and weakness have nothing to do with Blood magic. Josh.4016
Changing that portion would be easy. We have access to plenty of other weakness giving abilities. Enfeebling blood, Corrosive Poison Cloud, Epidemic, Signet of Spite, Plaguelands, Shadow Fiend which belongs to death magic, and of course boon conversaion. That part of the trait could easily stay on whatever replaces it.
Rym.1469
Weakning Shroud is very hardly an underrated trait. It's been staple choice in Curses for PvP since 2015 balance patch. Only recently other options became a bit more viable. If something struggles between the three Curses grandmasters, it's Parasitic Contagion, mostly due to being win-more trait. Still sees some use, in WvW and on Scourge in PvP for some players.
KrHome.1920
Weakening Shroud is THE Curses GM Trait for PvP and WvW. It's nowhere near underrated. It's also a great skill on offhand Dagger in theory - practically it's useless because of its cast time and delayed impact. >We have access to plenty of other weakness giving abilities. Enfeebling blood, Corrosive Poison Cloud, Epidemic, Signet of Spite, Plaguelands, Shadow Fiend... ...which are all trash in PvP.
