King Masenthias.5406
Due to updating windows 10, I have been unable to log in and play GWS2, however, I have been able to play GWS1. Does anyone know why that may be?
TechAssist.4635
Do you get a error code it usually found on the lower right of the launcher. It would look something similar to: 11:1001:8008:
King Masenthias.5406
no. When I go to click the shortcut, it takes me to the log in to your account page. I log in and the screen changes and logs me in which is no problem. the moment I click play, the screen minimizes and gets wiped and it acts like I never tried to play it in the first place. I've tried repairing the data, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I've tried deleting the windows 10 updates I did, I've restarted and shut down and turned back on the computer and nothing. I can play GWS1 however just fine, so it has to do something that's different with GWS2.
TechAssist.4635
Try this... First, please navigate to your Guild Wars 2 folder. By default, this will be C:\Program Files(x86)\Guild Wars 2. Right-click on "Gw2-64.exe" and select "Create Shortcut." Rename this shortcut to "Guild Wars 2 Windowed." Right-click on this shortcut and select "Properties." Edit the "Target" line to include -windowed at the end. Note: Please make sure -windowed is outside of the quotes-- Correctly Formatted Example: " C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe" -windowed -- Incorrectly Formatted Example: " C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe -windowed " Once completed, click "Ok" to save your changes. King Masenthias.5406
Thank you, that did seem to help at least with the logging in issue. I found out that I was actually logging in when I would try but it would immediately kick me off. I found that out from a friend in Guild. now the problem is trying to make it full screen. that does not seem to work.
