Stuttering graphics

Since then ew LS was released, my image stutters instantly when I move the camera. It looks like the image gets cut on several horizontal lines. What could that be? FPS are 60-80 and ping is 150 average.

Is that serverdependent or what could it be? I didn't have that issue before.

i'm having the same issues, plus my interface constantly stutters/scrolls (black shades)- its really bad on map & loading screens. seems worse since Wintersday update

You can attempt a repair (https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201863008-Repairing-the-Game-Client) or do a clean install of your graphic drivers to see if that resolves the issues.

 

If you are having trouble uninstalling your drivers , you can try the 3dguru uninstaller:

Check in updates if new Intel Graphics Drivers haven't been automatically installed on your system. That's what happened on my system, effect: terrible tearing making the game unplayable. Uninstalling it fixed the problem.

would this issue be game specific? when i play gw1 on same computer it looks/runs fine

YES this is the only game i ever found my self that has these many problems but all other games run just fine as they should from wow to eso to pubG.

 

but when you play guild wars 2 noting but problems and lag . it is called bad coding the game runs on .

its only been the last month or so with a noticeable step increase since wintersday update. before that it was fine, ran great

Try a windowed full screen instead of full screen, worked for me...

Tearing graphics could be V-sync. In game there is an option to wait for V-sync and on Radeon cards there is a setting to wait for vertical refresh.

thanks this seems to have stopped the issue (also did a full re-install & driver patch)
