Droprate of weapons for "Specialization Collections" to low?

I just want to start a discussion on the droprate of these weapons you need for the specialization collections. To my opinion they are too low, with nearly having all my collections completed without any weapon drops...

I believe anet added a chest at the end of certain meta events of pof maps that give these weapons as a reward for that very reason. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chest_of_the_Desert_Specialist

Since you get a Chest of the First Spear, which gives you a choice of these weapons needed for elite spec collections, for completing the Tip of the Spear Collection of all rare elonian weapons, which is a very cheap collection (5g) to do, I call Quaggan on this.

Did not know of the chest at the end of this event Defeat Ysshi Hessani and Pek Rakt Grag. But its a long chain event that needs coordination. And as for the collection, its not repeatable. So that will only be 1 of the 9 specialization collections.

The torment meta in the desolation drops the chest sometimes also.

Look in the LFG for Serpent's Ire metas or Maws of Torment metas. The reason these weapons prices have dropped quite drastically is because Anet added them to drop occasionally from the metas.

You can also buy them from the Trading Post, which are, thanks to the new drops in the PoF meta events, have come down in price over the past month.
