Naygaa.4216
I got HoT on disc (or my parents did for Christmas) and everytime I run the disc it brings me straight to the launcher. I've had the launcher for awhile now with no DLC. It's saying I don't own HoT even though I have the disc right next to me. I have no code or anything. Just a disk. It says it is installing but right when it gets done it goes straight to the launcher and back to saying I don't own it when I do. HELP!
nottsgman.8206
there should be a code with the disc. HoT uses the same launcher as all other versions of the game, so there is nothing new to install, but you do need a code.
Naygaa.4216
I can't find the code. I've looked all over the disc and can't find it anywhere.

It would be in the case/paper slip thats supposed to come with the disk. Did your parents buy it new?
Naygaa.4216
I don't know. It was wrapped in what games are usually wrapped in (having a brainfart atm) There is a code here but it's not 25 digits long.

Should look like this. http://i.neoseeker.com/n/5/ultimate_package_image_400x250.png There might be a pull off tab to view the code. http://i.imgur.com/M3TGM.jpg
nottsgman.8206
the paper/card with the serial on it should state that it is the serial code and also contain information on how to register an account on the same card iirc. is that what you're seeing? have you tried adding the code to your account, even if it isn't 25 digits? (through my account >> redeem code)
Naygaa.4216
Turns out my Dad got it off of amazon and I think the guy didn't send the code because we can't find it anywhere. I checked everywhere. Thanks guys!

I checked everywhere. Thanks guys! Sounds like your Da got scammed. Try to report it to Amazon, maybe he'll get his money back. Although seller may be allowed to sell a disc as like a "replacement" disc.
Naygaa.4216
Well it stated it had the Expansion Pack in the Amazon thing along with Core game.

If it says new, you should be able to get money back. Might still be able to, by claiming seller is being dishonest And trying to sell it as including serial. Looking on some reviews of HoT listings on Amazon, looks like discs without codes are common. But listings seem to claim including serial, so should definitely be able to fuss for money back and get the seller reported
