KingKunta.8936 Posted January 14, 2018 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Hi Guys, This might be a stupid questions, however im currently playing gw2 from my mac , which has a HDD. Im thinking of upgrading it to SSD. Now I know that SSD is much better then a HDD, but my question is, is it better to play from an External SSD, or should i replace the current HDD with an SSD. mauried.5608 Posted January 16, 2018 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Ive been playing from a normal USB2 hard drive (not a SSD) , and the only noticable differances are is that the game takes a lot longer to start, and changing maps is a lot slower, but apart from that there is very little obvious differance. KrHome.1920 Posted January 17, 2018 Share Posted January 17, 2018 Map loading times will be significantly longer when running the game from an external USB 3.0 HDD compared to an internal SATAIII SSD.
