Weapons NO LONGER show on mounts

Pretty big fashion wars change I noticed after logging on. My twilight no longer shows while stowed on my back when I get on any mount. Is this an intentional change?

 

I liked seeing my awesome weapons show through on my mount while running around, it looked amazing.

 

Seems like such an out of the way unnecessary change....

It first showed up last week, I believe. I haven't seen any dev comment on whether it was a bug or intentional.

Oh yeah, I did notice that my flamethrower no longer gruesomely impales my mounted char but I didn't really pay much attention to that.

I hope that's not permanent. I hate when my items vanish like that. I have weapons specifically skinned to look good with my outfit and mount. I'd also like to be able to see the equipped weapons in the character selection sign-in area. It's part of what makes them look cool.

So first we had this 'feature' where you could see all weapons on someone's back and now we see none :#
