Destroy or Not to Destroy

Every few weeks I end up going through my characters/bank and try to find out what is still usable and what I can destroy.

Some items I have finished the account quest on one character and can get rid of the item in the inventory of another. Others don't seem to have any purpose, so I hoard them into eternity. I can simply destroy some items, but specifically name others.

I know that if an item is already unlocked in a collection, I don't need it in inventory. Even /wiki is limited help at times.
