Habitax.8124
Alacrity as a boon should be stack-able in the same way as stability is stack-able. In this model, leave the duration pretty much the same as it currently is. Example: Mesmer Wells will grant one stack of Alacrity per pulse/tick while inside the aoe. This will reduce potential of being totally boon stripped of alacrity. Remember when stability did not have stacks and how cruddy that system was? I do. In short, ANET if you are making Alacrity a boon, I highly recommend it be stack-able.
OriOri.8724
And how do you propose the stacking should affect it? Will each stack increase its effectiveness? That would be fucking broken at 25% a stack. So maybe you wanted to nerf each stack to only be 5%, and stack up to 5 times? Well that would be useless in almost every situation. So what would the stacks do? Nothing?
Habitax.8124
Each stack would get the latest count down. Alacrity, no matter how many stacks would still provide 25%. For example each Well pulse would add another stack with a fresh countdown in a FIFO model, but Alacrity as a boon itself will provide 25% regardless of how many stacks. Example: A Well has 3 pulses (1 pulse being 1 second) each granting one 5 second stack of Alacrity each pulse. This would give you 3 Stacks total at some point due to "maths" .The first stack would be the first stack to fall off when its counter expired, leaving 2 stacks, and so on and so on.
