Warrior can't use dagger with spellbreaker elite specialization

Hey all! So my profession is a Warrior and I purchased Path of Fire but I DID NOT get Heart of Thorns. When I finished training spellbreaker to 100%, the gift dagger "Spellbreaker's dagger" is still not usable. I wonder if it has anything to do with not having Path of Fire, or there is something else I need to do?

You have to slot spellbreaker on your 3rd traitline in order to change your warrior to a spellbreaker, then you will be able to equip dagger.

 

When you do that, your icon will get updated from core warrior to spellbreaker.

What Crossaber said but I've also had it bug on me where I had to unequip the elite spec and log out then log back in and re-equip the elite spec (happened on my weaver not my warrior though). Until I could finally equip the new weapon.

Click the first slot on the last trait line, and pick "Spellbreaker", you can only slot elite specs on the bottom line.

 

You need to equip the Spellbreaker trait line/ Elite Specialization to actually be a Spellbreaker, otherwise you'll be a Warrior.


 

You should equip Spellbreaker where you see "Air" (lIghtning image) equipped in that image.
