Hate to break it down to you but GW started out as a human centric universe. Anet did a lot to tarnish that but it's where the lore and nostalgy is strongest, and GW2 is surviving only because of Anet is starting to go back to the roots, tapping into GW1 nostalgia hard. They realized that if GW1 players leave this community falls apart.

So? GW2 is not GW1 where only humans were playable. The other races deserve their time in the spotlight now. Sylvari has theirs with HoT.
