Best utility weapons?

Hi all,

 

Lately I fell in love with the pure shortbow condi Soulbeast build while doing casual open world PvE, due to how relaxing and effective its playstyle is.

 

I only have one shortbow though, so I was wondering which secondary weapon set provides the **best sheer utility** for a condi Soulbeast for occasional swapping in open world, and for which situations?

Sword + Warhorn combo? Daggers? Or something else?

For damage I would go for dagger/torch. Although torch is ugly aesthetic wise it gives good burning coverage. You could also go for axe/torch if you prefer range.

Utility would probably be greatsword. PvE doesn't really need utility other than speed or emergency defense for running or whatever and gs provides both.

 

I'd go damage though, axe torch.

I say sword+torch. Shortbow has only that skill 3 so skill 2 from sword will be more than good for disengage. Also Torch has a long range skill no.4 and aoe skill 5 wich is a combo field fire. Also dagger instead of sword could be a good choice like @"AEFA.9035" said.

Best utility is probably GS. It gives a gap closer, CC, evades, a block and has cleave.

SB has probably highest utility on the condi site. It has an evade, CC and can cleave with poison volley.

The cultist flame looks atleast good with its green flame. Even if the skills dont.

Dagger/torch is fantastic dmg wise.

But you can also go axe/torch and dagger/axe.

Lot of AoE, some projectile hate, cleave on Axe MH and gap closers on dagger MH.

With axe trait and ambidexterity it has nice synergy.

Offhand Axe has good utility in a pull and projectile reflect. It also does pretty good damage on both skills.
