The PoF boon corrupt/removal meta is awful and thoroughly unenjoyable.

So much of sPvP/WvW and even PvE is based around boon corruption now, and it sucks. It's not balanced well in PvE and is completely broken in PvP. I play Warrior/Necro and so contribute significantly to the problem, but even I can readily admit that it's unenjoyable to see. Instead of reacting to an opponents actions, I'm reacting to their buff bar, and the outcome of many fights depends purely on what I randomly strip at any time.

 

I really hope your next expansion moves far, far away from this mechanic. It's not fun. At all.

boon corruption has been a meta staple in even HoT with the Reaper.

 

PoF gave that role to more classes and made scourge even better at it. but its not new and has been a meta in pvp for years

I know it has, but it has proliferated so much and is so prevalent now, it's ridiculous.

 

WvW group fights revolve around who can drop the better WoD bubble and wipe out as many people as possible in it. That's not engaging gameplay.
