Shields?

I’m not arguing it isn’t effective. I just see absolutely no reason to tank your personal DPS like that for CC when the Warrior is already bursting with CC. The only reason I could possibly see is an organized run using it because other people ditching CC I favour of DPS and someone having to pick up the slack. (which is probably what Snowcrows are doing).

In general, you’re gonna get booted if you show up with Mace and Shield. Simple as that.

As a banner spellbreaker you have 1 cc, that is kick (+ rampage on a 90 sec cd). So unless your group have alot of others with good cc. You will be lacking hard. Mace/shield on the other hand have 900 points of cc. That 100 points short of a moa. And you also have kick, and if you want rampage. So it is 900 points of extra cc.

Now if you wanted to argue whether running spellbreaker with mace/shield or core war with same settup is best. Then sure, we can talk. But if you dont see the benefits in running mace/shield, then it is hardly worth it.

Also its not only the mace and shield.. spellbreaker loses more if it is him with banners on skillbar than core, thats why core works, its not only based on dps alone, that is spellbreaker role.

Core is the power variant of bannerslave to put it simple. If you want to play power but are the only Warrior take Core, otherwise, go Spellbreaker

And also in an actual raid I dont think core will actually lose so much dps compared to on golem because core rotation is a lot easier than spellbraker, more room for mistakes which happen and more reliable Berserker power uptime since it apllys allways 3 stacks. Havemt tested myself yet in raids since i actually prefer the condi build, but when power builds are better going to use core for sure since im the only Warrior in my raid group

I dunno, really. Taking two Banners as Spellbreaker what you lose is the precision Signet and Bull’s Charge (while keeping Kick for CC/trait activation). With Spotter (as well as the Banner trait that gives you twice the precision from green banner) I’m not sure the loss of the Signet really means anything for your crit chance in the end.
