Issue with Launcher

I just bought a new pc and had to re-download GW. I like to let it finish downloading the game fully to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. When I hit login everything seemed fine. When I click play, the launcher turns which and the GW icon on the taskbar flickers as if it was closing the launcher and booting the game but after the flicker it just disappears into the abysse like nothing happened. When booting GW again it doesn't need to update or download it just has the "Play" and whenever I click it it just repeats the above ^^ pls send help

 

edit I've already checked the Firewall, re-downloaded the game, disabled my Windows Defender and Malwarebytes and booted off all the programs that were running d3d9.dll and it all had the same outcome.

You could try launching the game with the -windowed Command Line Argument.

You can try disabling any 3rd-party programs: Discord, Graphics card programs, Overlays.
