Error using the code

So i bought the exension FROM the guildwars 2 site and i got sent a code to my email . when i try to use the code it says " The serial code you've entered is not valid for this region. Please apply the serial code to a valid account in the correct region. "

iv already contacted the support by sending an email but i believe they wont respond until tomorrow .

*note : i bought the core game and everything else from ArenaNet and never bought stuff from 3rd party sellers .

any ideas ?

This is happening to countless people. You're sol until arena net decides they actually want to support an expansion release instead of taking the day after off.

 

It's likely an authentication server issue, nothing you can do.
