Quality of life for "pets" classes

I been thinking about how we can see more use of pets and pet like effect but this dose not work well in mmorpg because of pathing and control of ai so why not do what we see with scorge "pets" allow the pets attk or effect to happen at both the pet and the players feet. This needs to be an effect for all classes who have any type of pet or pet like effects. It would go a long way to making many builds viable in more then 5 target support / attks and help the lesser used pet effects.

 

Any thoughts?

I like to see it for rev tablets and ele's elements (all be it super hard to get that to work) engs turrets would be cool to see with there aoe boons. War banners when they are not holding them. What else is there?
