Kahamatabine.5039
Hello everyone , I've been having weird issue recently. After booting my system (Windows 10) I have very low FPS in game. In zones I normally get 60FPS+, maximum I get is 40FPS and game stutters. It's really annoying because only work around I have found to solve it is PC restart - but sometimes I have restart 2-3 times for game to work properly. My question is: had anybody had similar issue before and what possible solution solve the problem? My PC specs are: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit NVIDIA GeForce GTX980, driver version 391.01 8GB of RAM AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
moonstarmac.4603
Did your driver update for your GTX980 recently? That could be the issue as the newer drive is know to have issues with GW2.
Cregath.7628
Or just having program on auto-update in general. If an update is running it can easily cause the game to have difficulties on slower disks or even fast ones in certain cases. For example, if you have a lot of games installed with Steam (and Steam starts with Windows) then that might result in them updating with startup, causing stuttering. The issue definitely sounds like your PC is having troubles there rather than GW2 specifically.
Kahamatabine.5039
I did update my video card drivers recently, although 391.01 update was from Feb 26.2018. I will try reverting drivers to older ones. As for automatic updates, I disabled all applications starting with Windows, so no Steam automatic update etc.

After booting my system (Windows 10) I have very low FPS in game. Define "booting". A fresh installation of Windows? Or simply restarting your PC?
