[Neural.1824]

(GW2 flavored rewrite of Hotel California, by The Eagles) (inspired by Lahemic.6097's thread).

 

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair

Warm smell of Jacaranda, rising up through the air.

Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light.

My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim.

I had to stop for the night.

 

There she stood by the gateway

I heard a choir bell.

And I was thinking to myself, 'this could be heaven or this could be hell'

Then she fired up the portal, and she showed me the way.

There were voices from the in game store

thought I heard them say...

Such a lovely place

Such a lovely pace.

Her mind is RNG-twisted, it's just a means to an ends

She got a lot of pretty pretty toys, and overpriced skins

There's a forge in the courtyard, sweet loot to get

Last thing I remember, I was running for the door.

I had to find a portal to the place I was before.

you can log out any time you like, but you can never leave.'
