Mount Selection is Awkward

Selecting a mount is awkward, especially if you are using action camera. These are not abilities, that we will be changing rarely. We will be swapping mounts ALL THE TIME. It needs to have a quick, simple, minimal interface, and the current one is not that. You have to go to the ability bar (dropping action camera), right click, pick the mount from a menu, then finally mount up (and re-enable action camera). That may not SEEM bad on paper, but that's a lot of wasted movement (and toggling action cam) for things that you will be doing constantly.

 

We need something simple, where we can change mounts with the touch of a button. The best proposal I have seen is this one from reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/6yf1fz/concept_mount_selection_menu/. Press to mount, hold to get radial and mount on release. Easy to integrate with action cam too, just bring back the cursor when it's up as happens with menus.

You can go into the options menu and bind each mount to it's own button. I finally learned that earlier today and it's made things so much easier on me.
