Veplerion.3921 Posted September 23, 2017 Share Posted September 23, 2017 Anyone else still having issues with their beta character name not being available? The game tells me the name is unavailable at creation, and when I try to send a mail to it in game I get the "You cannot send to yourself" error, so I know it's still tied to my account. I contacted support about it last week and never got any help other than a general "names will be available at launch". I'm mostly just curious if anyone else is having the issue, since I contacted support again but with the inevitably huge increase in support tickets surrounding launch I doubt I'll get a reply any time soon. JustTrogdor.7892 Posted September 23, 2017 Share Posted September 23, 2017 I checked GW2 Efficiency yesterday morning and the beta characters were still showing up. I have not been able to check since then because the API is down. It appears as if they have not removed them yet.
