41MB problam

Sorry, but it is annoying and stupid. The same problem constantly happening in every 2 or 3 updates and we have to look up for weird solutions instead of someone from anet saying, "hmm, let's fix it properly". It is a basic thing, it shouldn't be stuck on the last file.

 

Changing language etc. is just not working and another weird solution. It is starting from the beginning when you do that. Not using any anti-virus programmes at all.

 

Please, pay attention to updates. It is being very annoying.

 

PS: Repair is also not an option, tried it, not fixed it. Still no progress after 41mb.

**My client is stuck updating at 99% with one file left. What should I do?**

_First, locate and delete your local.dat file which can be found in your Documents > Guild Wars 2 folder.

Next,reboot your computer and launch Guild Wars 2 again. After seeing the “1 file remaining” message, a secondary protocol should kick in to download the missing file from the backup system. This process usually takes about 10 minutes.

If after 15 minutes or so you find that the above process has not resolved the issue – that is, you’re still stuck at a 99% download – please try this work-around: Change the language setting for the launcher (in the top right corner of your screen) to a different language. At that time, the download should complete. Once that occurs, change the launcher back to your original language and log in to play._
