I would love to keep using this skin with the ascended aqua breather. It's not something you can just get in 5 minutes, craft as many times as you want, or get any time of the year. So being able to switch it between characters would've been a nice feature. The problem, though, is that the effect is tied to the object, not the skin. So carrying it over to another object would probably be more work than usual, if it is feasible at all. But yeah, now that they have put more focus on ascended aquabreathers, this exotic one is put in a rather awkward situation. Perhaps they could make it so we can upgrade it into an ascended version.
