Escorting funeral procession

This seems to still be an issue, I waited by the receiving attendant for quite some time on Saturday but I could never interact with him. From the number of Necromancers I spotted hanging around near the NPC I would say I'm not the only one with an issue. I then ignored the NPC and swept through on the zone on numerous occasions, looking at the area above and a couple of places near Vehtendi Arena but still no good.

Is it broken or is the Wiki just wrong?

Okay, after a whole month of wandering around aimlessly... I figured some things out. The attendant does not spawn the events (the wiki is wrong... not surprising as anyone can edit the wiki). What he does do is tell you where a procession is IF there is one active. For those of you who said you waited around the attendant.... you notice how people come up and bow and and kneel and do their whole chant to Joko... that was a procession you missed in escort.

I triggered my escort while wandering around the Forum Highlands... in the middle of the "day" - in-game wise. I ran back to attendant because I was confused because I clearly did not speak to him, but he told me an escort was in procession and it was the same one that spawn right next to me in Forum Highlands.... so I ran back and escorted to completion. This happened about four times. So I deduced the attendant doesn't trigger the events.

My assumption is there are 4 or 5 spawn points... all of which rotates on a timer basis which someone has to trigger by being near it. As I've been trying to figure this event out for a whole month and did all sorts of events to spawn or trigger, nothing happens. However, just merely wandering around in areas and I get the escort to trigger. Twice was in low peak times (2am or so) where there were few players around so I doubt another player finished an "chain" event for me. The one that makes the most sense is it's timed intervals but random spawn points at which someone has to be really close to trigger. You don't even need to talk to attendant to start or get credit for the procession as I got mine without doing neither.

Hopefully someone can work on more specific parameters for this confusing AF event.... but hope this helps. Don't waste your time standing around the attendant!

Here I help ya, because I got mad on this event so much, that now i know it good.

First: the possibility to interact with the receiving attendant happen only at dawn or dusk. It's automatic doesn't depend on any event, it just appear at the time span so be sure to be there when the day becomes night or viceversa.

Second: the funerary procession can spawn in random places, so be sure to check out when speaking to the attendant to ask him where it is

Third: Make a squad, spread ppl in necropolis area so the first to see the event can call the other. Also bring druid or healer because the procession included the coffin can be healed and for your sake be there fast because when i tried that event at least 2/3 times i got there and the procession was already dead.

BTW ANET plz for the love of your scourge players make this event trigger more and the procession stay invulnerable till someone is near the event to do it, because otherwise not only you don't know when the event start but if u get there and it's already finished because the procession is dead you just frustate players like me that tried it so many times to just get mad at the game

About this event. Really Anet re-do it.

1. Announcment of the event happens too late, long after first mobs attack the escort.

2. We made it before dawn, aprx 10 minutes till Dawn, sme guy in group talked to attendent and it started, as that guy said at least

3. Starting point was north from WP, as screen above tells

Make group for this when u do
