Warden Jabari Griffon event collection item Bug

I have just completed the Kill Warden Jabari event in the Elon Riverlands TWICE and I did not even get an event chest which drops the collection item for the griffon EITHER time! This is very frustrating, I arranged the event both times and everyone in the event got it except for me! WHY?

Same, killed him 3 times, got the achievement and everything, but no item for the collection.

Note: got the achievement the first time, then started the collection the same day, and 2 other attempts at the event didn't give me the item.

That makes me hesitant to try again...

I sent a support ticket in game and on the support site, I recommend you do the same to get this fixed asap.

Also tried on an alt character, still doesn't work for me. Definitely an account bug.

Event finally gave me the event chest. Not sure if they fixed it, but if anyone had the same issue, I'd try again now.

It might be cause you did it before having the collection ?

I did it yesterday and get the item first kill, then a friend of mine did it this morning and get it too.

Sounds painful tho, to not be able to play with that fluffy mount :(

Bump. Just encountered this bug and I don't believe it has anything to do with daily content because I did Jabari's event yesterday before reset (and before I'd finished the story) - did him just now and didn't get his reward chest. This is extremely annoying since this is the last thing I need to get in this map and I would desperately _not_ like an increasingly irritating group event chain that I _need_ more people to assist me with to be bugged and not give me what I want.

 

C'mon ArenaNet. Get on this ASAP, - you're charging people so much of their gold to get this hidden mount that you can't afford to let bugs like this break it.

I had to wait for the dailies to reset and did it again and got my item in the end.

I just learned that the Warden Jabari event is currently gated as a daily event. We will adjust that so that it’s not gated.

This event might still be bugged. A group of ten plus some pugs did this event last night, but even after defeating the Warden and freeing all the prisoners, I did not receive the rune I need for my Griffon mount collection in this map. I heard others complaining as well, so am not sure why we did not receive the item. I got a chest but rune was not contained in it.
