Multiple DC's and Massive Lag

Recommended Posts

Been researching this on the forum and it seems pretty random. Hubby and I have had problems since the week before the last patch. It started slowly but has increased to unplayable as of last nite.

We've rebooted our modem and new router and there's really no issue other than when we play GW2. I'd really like for us to finally finish our Griffon quest but sadly I'm not confident we will with this ongoing problem.

Any solutions?

The best place to start is [the (sadly, poorly named) guide from PingPlotter to figure out where on the network the problem is](https://pingplotter.com/fix-my-network). Ignore the "your" in the name of the guide, it covers figuring out the problem even if your network is actually just fine.

This could be on the ANet side, or it could be somewhere else on the path between your and their servers. Step one is figuring out the answer to "where is the failure."

Once you know that y'all can proceed to get it fixed: if it is the ANet servers, showing ANet the proof that it isn't some random network thing is the best way to get their attention focused on the right place. If it is, then they may not be able to do anything, y'know?

Have you tried following the guide in the post above yours to narrow down where the issue is?

Sorry, we couldn't find the page you're looking for.

I can't get a teq kill nor 30+ wvw fight without getting dc or massive lag (more than 3 mins delay) since last week.

The last 5 IP addresses are apparent to be owned by amazon.

What am I suppose to do to improve the connectivity? Teq and wvw are basically all I do in Gw2 these days.

Seems we are also having trouble with amazon via a different route
