Crashing while patching/downloading FIXED (help for devs trying to nail down problem)

Hello all, if you were like me, you may have been encountering an error while patching or downloading the client. An inconsistent amount of files would be downloaded before the client crashed with an error.

 

What fixed this error for me (and this might help the devs nail down this problem) is the following:

 

* **type " netsh winsock reset " in the terminal as admin**

 

* After restarting your computer the fix should work

 

This was the only thing that allowed my game to fully download and launch without encountering the error.

That's cool, I was just posting this because when I was trying to find a solution to the problem I could not find anything related to it through Google. All the other suggestions did not work and I never saw a post in the Knowledge Base. Thanks for letting me know, I'll check it out!
