Luxon/Kurzick border

The border in the factions campaign between Luxons and Kurzicks has been stuck for quite a while. Being an avid Alliance Battles (AB) player it bothers me that the border and consequently the AB map has not changed in months maybe not even for over a year. My question concerns this border, I was wondering whether it would be possible to change the underlying system of the border to an automatically changing border that changes for example every 3 hours. This way the AB maps would alternate making AB more interesting.

 

Furthermore, by continuosly changing the border (smaller) luxon guilds will be able to enjoy outpost perks as well, while nowadays this is mainly a kurzick privilege.

 

The wiki states that the map moves due to wins/losses in Alliance Battles, however even when AB matches are happening the border does not change.

AFAIK that border is an EXTREMELY delicate system that only the original lead designer messed with. I would be VERY hesitant to have anyone do anything with them. It could be a scary amount of work just to learn how the system works.

I was thinking of making the border move around based on the smallest possible input from alliance battles. I looked at the code - LInsey is right - it's kind of confusing, so it's unlikely to change in the near future.

Yea..that may work. A score reset on a weekly basis would be sweet.
