Issues with slow loading times and reinstalling the game

Hi,

 

I logged in today for the first time for a few days, and found that everything was suddenly taking a really long time to load in - some maps have always been slow, but were extra slow today, and others that are normally not too bad were slower than usual. Even once I'd loaded into the map, the models were then taking an additional few minutes to load in.

 

I've tried repairing the client, in case that helped, but the repair client keeps crashing. I've tried deleting the local.dat, etc, and found no difference.

 

I think thought I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling the client itself, and start from scratch, but I'm getting a serious error message when attempting to uninstall:

you could manually delete everything in the game folder and reinstall.

I believe you get an error because the old uninstaller points to GW2.exe. I think renaming the file to GW2.exe enables it (the uninstaller) to work.
