Kaas.1304
Hello, I have submitted a ticket, but I want to check if community can help me with advice too. Here is my problem: One day I try to get into the game, log in, click Play and the game starts to load... as it seams at first. I get an "Untitled" tab on the taskbar, usually it turns into GW2 really quick, but now I just wait forever and nothing happens. It just doesn't load further than opening an Untitled window. I tried to do Repair process and even reinstalled the game, but no changes. Support website also seems to not work at all now. Does anyone have Ideas? Thank you Edit: typo
Kaas.1304
Just a bit of additional info here. Task Manager correctly identifies the window as GW2 client, but shows that it uses 0% of computer's resources. So its not like it can't connect to to the server or something like that, it doesn't even try!! And I checked things like antivirus, memory and internet. I envy people with crashing issues now... they can at least play something.
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Are you using any 3rd-party programs? Discord, graphics-card programs, injectors, overlays, etc.?

Kaas.1304
I got help from GW2 Support and they got the problem solved for me. Here is what helped if anyone struggles with the same: First, 1. Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the “R” key. 2. Paste in the following line: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2 3. Click “OK.” 4. Delete the local.dat file located here. Next, 1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder. 2. Right-click on "Gw2-64.exe" and select "Create Shortcut." 3. Rename this shortcut to "Guild Wars 2 Repair." 4. Right-click on this shortcut and select "Properties." 5. Edit the "Target" line to include -repair at the end. Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes-- Correctly Formatted Example: "C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe" -repair-- Incorrectly Formatted Example: "C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe -repair" 6. Once completed, click "Ok" to save your changes. If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try Step 5 again. 7. Right-click "Guild Wars 2 Repair" and select "Run as Administrator." Allow the repair to run and once completed, right-click "Gw2-64.exe" or your Guild Wars 2 Shortcut and select "Run as Administrator." Once completed, please try starting Guild Wars 2 again.
