Can we get a statement on facet of chaos?

Can we please get a statement from anet on whether facet of chaos’ energy upkeep was split between wvw/pvp and pve. The patch notes says it should be -4 energy regen which it is in pve but wvw/pvp it still remains at -5. Is this intended or is this a bug that will be fixed?

Its intended. With Recent buff to Bolster Fortifications we have more synergy with Facet camping in PvE. But for pvp/wvw its still -5 otherwise you could roam around freely with perma prot/swiftness or in WvW Prot/Regen. But its not worth sacrificing pulsing fury/swiftness/might for Prot.

Got a source for that? I’m just curious because normally with splits they specify that it’s split, which was not the case here. But it wouldn’t be the first time they screwed up on patch notes or ingame mechanics.

The only source I can direct you to is the patch notes for 7/10 where they explicitly say "We've also made some adjustments to improve the viability of a revenant power build in PvE."

Yes but they made adjustments of Skills and traits between WvW/PvP and PvE and they specify that split.
