muecke.8590 Posted August 2, 2018 Share Posted August 2, 2018 Hi Fellows, my Son lost his Google Authenticator (deleted it) and now can't logon to GW2 and also not to his Arenanet Account (to reset the authenticator). But lately I've found its become common for MMO support sections to get back logged after some kind of big event. A few weeks back there was a huge influx of players coming out of Bless, and with that a lot of random tickets for things when players aren't sure how to find support for. Well its normally considered a bad idea, if your kids are prone to losing "things", hand scribbling the 2FA key no paper and locking it up as a back up plan might be worth while. Normally 2FA systems like this have single use recovery codes..... so I'm kind of surprised they aren't used here given how convoluted a manual account verification process is.
