Deadeye is the most fun I've had in a while

I just got my Thief to 80 yesterday and Deadeye is really really fun you guys. Daredevil is okay but I love the marking mechanic and Kneel mode. It's pretty unique compared to other classes. I'm having a lot of fun running a P/P build or a rifle sniper build

 

Anyway, two questions. What does Malice... actually do? Is it just used for the malicious sneak attacks? And why does my Malice gauge sometimes turn blue?

Nothing, it's the skills / abilities which have effects based on the amount of malice you accumulated.

Yeah that's what I was already working on for my engineer but I'm excited to have more chances to use it
