anduriell.6280 Posted August 31, 2018 Share Posted August 31, 2018 Anet you solved the issues with boon / condition duration changing the flat percentages increases to concentration and expertise. They should do the same for every permanent flat damage increase in the traits. It will solve processing power as instead doing the calculus of multiple different additions it will just do one and it will contain the power creep we have been having lately. Basically i'm asking to exchange the multiplicative damage increases for the additive one. Right now the math would be like this one: ( 100 ) * 1.1 * 1.07 * 1.05 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 1.1 = 202.2 ( 102% total damage increase ). It should be like this: (100) * ( 1 + ( 0.1 + 0.07 + 0.05 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 ) ) = 177 (77% total damage increase). For example: A trait which applies +5% damage should translate to +5% power (base stat + armor/weapons/trinkets) . When used ferocity instead to promote critical damage it could be +75 ferocity . Anet We need this in all professions. With the constant power creep the content becomes irrelevant and boring and PvP modes are a disaster because of the broken burst potential.
