some trait wont work when you are in down stat !!

As a reaper you ll get access to [shivers of Dread](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shivers_of_Dread "Shivers of Dread") as a passive trait and if you take [bitter Chill](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bitter_Chill "Bitter Chill") and you get in down stat and you use your down 2 [Fear](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Fear_(necromancer_skill) "Fear") your target will get chilled but not get the 3 Vulnerability

so my question is. does that apply to [Dread](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dread "Dread") too ? or i dont have access to some trait in down stat ? and how i can test something like that ?

All your traits keep working when downed. The only question is if you have access to the skills to make use of them. For example, you have access to Fear (downed skill 2) but don't have access to Chill. So any traits that affect Fear will be useful but traits based on Chill will not.

Just tested. Bitter Chill doesn't seem to trigger but the rest do (Dread, Terrifying Descent, Shivers of Dread, Deathly Chill).

If he has Deathly Chill, he does have Shivers of Dread (Fear causes Chill).
