Cobragod.2014
So i'm not sure if this has been considered or discussed in the past, i could not find anything but am still looking. I was wondering why there is no Guild Leader/Staff chat option or filter in GW2. I believe it would simplify things for guild staff members and help cut the need for additional external resources to communicate. Anyone having more knowledge or ideas please feel free XD i would love to see if this could be added to the game of at least know the reasons against it. Gecko tokay.4035
I totaly agree, in my guild we have a big TS3 server but a chat in game is the best way to communicate quickly between officers without exit the game. This chat should have two distincts permissions from groups management (write/read).
Alatar.7364
While this is a nice and probably practical Idea, I don't really see the need for this as long as we have Party chat, Whispers and Groups in Squad.
Jason.5296
I agree with Alatar. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be a problem to have leaders and officers squad up and chat if voice chat isn’t viable. Of course that still means anyone from said guild can join in too no matter the rank/permissions. But if guild leadership has to be that secretive then it’s probably not a guild worth being involved in anyways.
Namless.4028
You could also create a second staff only guilds (with noone representing) and use that as staff Chat
