Solo Qadim Lava Elemental

I've been trying to figure out a build for lava elementals instead of the daredevil build thats popular right now. I think reaper should be able to have decent survivability and dps burst on them but wanted to know what other people think.

 

If you dont think it's possible then please dont post here. I want some real suggestions from people and an explanation as to why they made the suggestion.

It's rough but the idea was using signets to get more base stats. More power for axe auto attack from signet of spite, movement from signet of the locust and then vamp signet for passive heals when getting hit by qadim. Axe auto with crit is enough to 1 shot the elementals but building up vuln can take a while so there's a downfall there. Axe 2 will definatly kill them but it's on a 6 second CD. Reaper shroud takes care of them no problem but getting to the enemies instead of from range could be a problem.

 

Death magic sucks compared to soul reaping but it does deal with the condi's from qadim nicely and give some survivability. If the lava elementals give LF when they die then the build actually has some shroud sustainability.

 

I'll probably try and see if i can get this to work when my guild goes in this week. Any HELPFUL suggestions are welcome

Personal opinion is that you are sacrificing way too much that you might as well do a regular dps build and ask one of the healers to come with you. You only really need 1 to heal the dps group anyway so is more of a consistency thing.

Are you taking DM just for _unholy sanctuary_?

Honnestly you'd be better off with BM than DM if you need to deal with condi and survivability.

Thank you for your suggestions and not just poo poo :). If my group gets to qadim this week i think they'll let me try something.

 

On a side note do people know if the elementals are hard cc-able? Pulls and fears and stuff??

Or is it just soft cc
