We can get 195 participation fast without the buff. Something more useful would be a boost to the reward track by 10-15%. Just a suggestion. Don't take this the wrong way and enjoy your day xd. They don't even allow you to use the guild enhancement for reward track bonus if you don't have HoT so I don't see them changing outnumbered buff from mf to reward track bonus ever. Adamarc.7463 Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 The easiest and most useful change to the outnumbered buff would be to make it so that it occurs the moment you become outnumbered rather than at the next tick (by which time it is often too late). joneirikb.7506 Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 Choose one: * Competitive: Outnumbered EFFECT (not buff), should not give any combat bonuses, main function is to give a warning that you are now outnumbered on this map, and a few token bonuses like MF in case you decide to stay and fight anyways. * Casual: Outnumbered BUFF (no longer an effect) could now be used to try to equalize somewhat, thus giving stats and combat bonuses, it's primary purpose would be to try to give outnumbered players a better chance (for the map total). The two are mutually exclusive, both would benefit from ANet doing more development on having it trigger for more localized areas instead of map-wide, and as mentioned above, trigger faster so we get the warning effect faster. Currently the Outnumbered EFFECT is the primary argument toward WvW being a "competitive" mode over a "casual" mode. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
