Reaper WvW Solo Roaming POF build with commentary (Vid)

Hi all.

 

From the recent poll ([Link Here)](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/5602/poll-what-is-your-most-played-or-most-cared-about-game-mode-as-a-necro "https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/5602/poll-what-is-your-most-played-or-most-cared-about-game-mode-as-a-necro") on favored game modes, there are still solo Necro roamers in WvW out there reading the forums! *cries with joy*

 

Ever since the change to SoS trait and Reapers lost the 7 seconds shroud CD, I've been holding off trying to adapt to a new build and play-style on the Reaper.

Was wanting to give Scourge a try. After about 1 week of solo roaming on Scourge, there are some glaring short-comings to the Scourge. A large portion of the damage is tied to the Shades and foes that can stay out of the Shades radius are really hard to handle. I would love for any Scourge to prove me wrong down the road and show us that Scourge is also viable for solo roaming!

 

With that said, Reaper still feels better for solo roaming and I've gravitated to a burstier build.

Uh...no where near that but hope you found the video helpful lol.

 

That said, I think Necros aren't alone in finding their HOT elite or even core class preferable compared to the new POF elite for certain game modes.

 

For example, I still see many core warriors, core mesmer, chrono, Druids, DD, DH etc while roaming.

 

And not making the previous spec obsolete is a good thing.
