If you travel north from Plinth Timberland Waypoint it's along the north wall of Bramble Pass hidden behind some vines

I think that one kind of matches the GW1 location for Bloodstone Caves, where the asura Gadd was researching a Bloodstone...

Oh yeah! I just looked it up. Sadly not content I've ever been able to experience from the first game

 

I'd say it still stands as an entrance that has been in the game since launch hinting at a possible area that has yet to be used. I suppose it's an even more interesting prospect now I know it leads to a Bloodstone
