haventr.1630
Weapon Set 1: Mace/Axe(Vipers) with Superior Sigil of Malice on the mace and Superior Sigil of Geomancy on the axe. Weapon Set 2: Axe(Vipers) with Superior Sigil of Hydromancy. Armor: Full Vipers with 4x Superior Runes of the Nightmare and 2x Superior Runes of the Trapper. Accessories: Full Vipers. Food: Koi Cakes and Toxic Focusing Crystals(Tuning Icicles as a cheaper alternative) Traits: Corruption - 3-2-1 Devastation - 1-3-1 Renegade - 2-2-2 For min/maxing, run +5 condition damage infusions on all of your gear for a free Superior Sigil of Bursting. I've done a lot of testing and Devastation does give more dps than Invocation but ONLY when you're the only Renegade in your group(you shouldn't be using two Renegades in most raids anyway). If there's another Renegade, make one run Invocation - 1-1-1. This mostly applies to Fractals. Please note that having a second axe with hydromancy is only a dps increase if you master the rotation. Getting off the swap without losing damage will require piano hands. If your rotations aren't the best, stick with only running mace/axe with geomancy and staff as a 2nd set in CC emergencies. Also note that this is a top personal dps build and Kalla with Razorclaw's Rage might end up being more dps.
LucianDK.8615
Id like to know more about your legend choices and utility uses, which spirits you use etc. Regarding equilibrium in invocation, doesnt it take a terrible minmaxing of energy to be worthwhile using? For personal DPS and Fractals, you'll want to run Mallyx and Jalis, but for Raids, Kalla is most likely better than Jalis. Also the traits for Invocation aren't that important, you mostly use it for Ferocious Aggression and Roiling Mists. Mallyx and Jalis are standard condi rev rotations and for kalla you do Razorclaw's Rage into standard rotation and citadel bombardment right as your other legend is ready. xarallei.4279
Razorclaw's rage? Not soulcleave? People were telling me sc was better than razorclaw. Or is it not because it drains so much energy so quickly?

Or is it not because it drains so much energy so quickly? Exactly that, with razorclaw's you add citadel bombardment to your rotation since you aren't draining energy. xarallei.4279
So what soulcleave brings to the group is not enough to outweigh this issue? Meh, I wish the energy cost wasn't so damn high.
LucianDK.8615
id be interested in some insight on icerazor and darkrazor for groups. I know darkrazor is good as a cc skill. But icerazor have a goodly amount of hits, though does it compare to razorclaw? After all you dont have enough energy to use too many spirits at once.
