Enchanted snowball

I have the enchanted snowball from last year with all the colours unlocked except for brown and black. I went to the vendor this year and tried to purchase these 2 missing colours.

 

Problem is that it looks like I have to purchase another enchanted snowball just to get those 2 colours?

 

Is this working as intended or is it a bug. My current snowball is in my novelties tab now - is that making a difference?

I did send a bug report, however, it would be nice to see a Dev comment on this.

Thanks. I opened a ticket as well. Annoying but I don’t expect them to waste resources on this at all.

Would just like to thank support for resolving this issue. They graciously sent me another non-novelty bound snowball that I used to get the last 2 colours I was missing.
