[SUGGESTION] From a dream I had, I was playing warrior with great sword and guardian staff.

In my dream I was playing warrior with great sword and all its typical skills, but on my other weapon I had a guardian staff with all guardian 5 skills and I was having a blast playing it.

So, my suggestion is this:

* Allow us to choose 1 weapon from any class.

* Or even maybe a combination of main and off hand weapons

* But always force us to choose 1 weapon from our class.

You can still do that.

* You don't have to switch weapons, But you don't really want to be told this, so look at the option below.

* You can also use a ranged/utility weapon as your secondary weapon slot as your emergency slot when you need that instead of your primary weapon slot. Such as a mace/shield to break defiance bar or a rifle to shoot enemies from afar.

* You can also put two greatsword on both slots and use [weapon swap sigils](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sigil#On_weapon_swap "weapon swap sigils") and [traits](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Weapon_swap#Related_traits "traits") to make your greatsword stronger. Ranger benefits from this greatly from [Quickdraw](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Quick_Draw "Quickdraw"), as every time you swap longbow, Barrage is ready to be cast(10 second cooldown vs 25 second cooldown). Mirage do this for Endurance with [this](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Sigil_of_Energy) sigil.

So you want the GW1 system where you can combine professions? Doesn't really interest me tbh, Warrior staff could be cool though. I imagine it would be like Thief or Revenant staff (aka melee).

I'd rather them work on adding new weapons such as land spear or pole arm, maybe even greataxe!

I did not know that, I never played gw1.
