Etterwyn.5263
Not at home currently, but I couldn't find a particular setting... or maybe I was looking in the wrong place... But when playing open world PVE, I really hate it when the music changes to "panic mode" just because my HP is below 60% (or whatever the number is that triggers it). It breaks my immersion (I really love most of the background music), and even a scrub like me can visually keep up with my HP and act accordingly. I've been playing with the sound off for nearly a year now because of this. Typically I have mp3's or streaming playing in the background during my GW2 time. I only use sound when playing story episodes so that I can hear the dialogue. Is it possible to disable "panic mode" so I can once more enjoy the sounds and music this game has to offer? Davion Roth.6709
Not home right now to look at the options, but I'm almost positive there's a toggle for this on the sound tab in the options window.

I'll feel stoopid if I missed this way back when. :# I had gotten used to playing with the sound off, but this week I decided to resume LS4 (I left off in Episode 2) and I started getting annoyed again when the music would switch.
